LEGAL NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by the Ross County Commissioners at the Board of Ross County Commissioners, 2 North Paint St., Suite H, Court House, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601, Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., until Monday, March, 16, 2026, 9:30 A.M. and opened at that time for Various County Road Repairs (Paving. milling and pavement marking) in Ross County. Project to be managed by the Ross County Engineer. Bid proposals and specifications for these improvements may be obtained at the office of the Ross County Engineer, 755 Fairgrounds Road, P.O. Box 458, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601, Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. In addition to Local Funds, this project will receive OPWC Loan Funds. The completion date for this project will be no later than October 17, 2026. Prevailing wage rates to be paid under this contract shall be those ascertained by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour. The 2023 Construction and Material Specifications of the State of Ohio Department of Transportation shall apply to this project. All bidders must conform to Section 153.59 of the Revised Code concerning discrimination. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities.
