The remains include bones and bone fragments from three different individuals and a full set of skeletal remains from one individual, all who may or may not be related to Pleasant Litchford. The school district intends to cremate and reinter the bones and bone fragments at Union Cemetery and cremate and reinter the full set of remains at the Litchford Memorial Garden on the site of the former family cemetery at Upper Arlington High School. The Probate Court will hold a hearing regarding this matter on March 12, 2026, at 9:30am at 373 S. High Street, 22nd Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
