PA 2025 0033 NOTICE OF PUBLICATION To: Vandy Gonzalez Fernandez You are hereby notifiedthat on the 30th day of October 2025 , Ian B. Hale filed in this Court a Petition for Adoption of Santiago Mendez, a minor whose date of birth is 02/16/2021and for change of the name of the minor to Santiago Mendez Hale. The Fairfield County Probate Court, located at 224 E. Main St. Lancaster, OH 43130, will hear the petition on the 30th day of March, 2026 at 2:00 o'clock.P.M. It is alleged in the petition, pursuant to R.C. 3107.07, that the consent of Vandy Gonzalez Fernandez is not required due to the following: That person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide more than de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner, That person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide for the maintenance and support of the minor as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner, or Other grounds under R.C. 3107.07 (includes putative father of the minor born prior to January 1, 1997).
