OH-43311592 Collection of FIRST HALF Real Estate Taxes Closes Wednesday, February 18, 2026 If taxes are not paid by the above date, penalty charges are as follows: 5% of the current tax if received in the office within 10 days of the closing date; and 10% thereafter. If taxes remain unpaid, further penalty and interest will accrue. Per ORC 323.122 (F) if you or a member of your family is in the National Guard or Reservists of the US Armed Forces called to active duty, you may qualify for an extension of time to pay your taxes. The County Treasurer endeavors to mail all tax bills when he has the correct address of the person who is to pay the bill. However, the County Treasurer is not legally responsible for failure to receive proper bills.
