ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSMowing|Trimming|Weed ControlSealed bids will be received by the City Manager of the City of Columbiana, Ohio for Mowing, Trimming and Weed Control at certain specified city properties, at a fixed price, as required, for the City of Columbiana, Ohio, for the period from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.A copy of the specifications can be requested by calling (330)482-2173, option 6 or via email to: rervin@columbianaohio.govSaid bids will be received in the office of the City Manager, 28 West Friend Street, Columbiana, Ohio 44408, until 11:00 A.M., on Thursday March 5, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read at that time and then recommended to Council for their action.The bid advertisement will be advertised on the same day of the week for not less than two (2) nor more than (4) consecutive weeks in a newspaper determined by the Council to be of general circulation within the municipality.The contract award will go to the lowest and best bidder who has submitted a bid with the lowest overall cost to the city.City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.Lance Willard, City ManagerPublished in the Morning Journal, The Review and Salem newspapers, February 14, 21, 2026
