ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSMilan, OH Water System Improvements, 10-Year Water Tower Maintenance Program. Separate sealed bids for the Water Tower Ten (10) Year Water Tower Maintenance Program will be received by the Village of Milan at the office of the Village Administrator, 11 South Main Street, Milan, OH 44846, until 10:00 A.M. o'clock local time March 4, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.Requirements to submit a valid bid:Mandatory in person Pre-bid meeting attendance on February 26, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.Contract documents shall be requested from the Village to be considered a registered plan holder and submit a bid. Contract documents can be obtained at the Village Offices located at 11 S. Main Street or by email at brospert@milanohio.gov .Scope of work shall be, but not limited to, to include all labor, tools, equipment, materials for the interior and exterior painting of the water tower, inspections, cleaning and maintenance operation, repairs, and follow all Ohio EPA required standards.The Village of Milan reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bidder. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, General Liability Insurance, Ohio Workers Compensation Insurance, and Bid Bond for the full amount 100% of the bid with bid submission. This Bond also serves as Performance and Payment Bond if you are awarded the contract.Each proposal must contain the full name of the party submitting the proposal and all people interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that certain parts of this project is completed within eight (8) months from the Notice to Proceed.All contractors involved with this project will, to the extent practicably use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
