ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSeparate sealed bids for the 2026 STREET PROGRAM - SURFACE ASPHALT within the Village of Mt. Orab, Brown County, Ohio will be received by the Village of Mt. Orab, Ohio; 211 S. High St., Mt. Orab, OH 45154 until 11:00 A.M., Local Time on February 25. 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Village of Mt. Orab at the above noted address. Envelope shall be clearly marked: "BID FOR 2026 STREET PROGRAM - SURFACE ASPHALT”Work under this contract is generally defined as the furnishing and installation of surface coarse asphalt for nine (9) existing streets (Autumn Court, Little Brook Court, Mercy Boulevard, Ben Houser Court, Wallace Way, Maple Street, Johnson Alley, Robin Avenue, and Linda Way) as shown in the Bid Drawings, along with incidental associated work on existing Village roadways as directed by Village personnel and in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications effective January 1, 2023, and its most recent revisions and supplements, Standard Construction Drawings, Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control, and other applicable standards in force on the date of letting and in accordance with the Project Specifications (including Special Provisions) on file at the Village office.Funding for this project is comprised of local funds.The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Specifications, and other Contractor Documents may be examined at the following Locations:Village of Mt. Orab 211 S. High St.Mt. Orab, OH 45154Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained during normal business hours at the Village of Mt. Orab office at 211 S. High St., Mt. There will be no charge for the bidding documents.Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to safety regulations, conditions of employment to be observed, and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
