Request for Bids for Lawn Care MaintenanceBelmont Metropolitan Housing Authority (BMHA) will be accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Lawn Care Maintenance for BMHA properties owned and managed in Martins Ferry and Bellaire, Ohio. A list of addresses will be provided in the bid package. The bid should include a planned program of lawn care maintenance for the 2026 mowing season.Request a complete copy of the bid package by contacting Summer Jenkins, Executive Director at the Belmont Metropolitan Housing Authority; PO Box 398; Martins Ferry, OH 43935 by calling 740-633-5085.Mowing service includes general cleanup of trash and debris and mowing of yards and removal of grass clippings from sidewalks, parking area and lots and trimming of grass and weeds along flower beds, sidewalks, curbs, trees, shrubs, buildings, fences, poles, parking lot bumper blocks, and other fixed obstacles.Service shall occur weekly and is anticipated to occur between the months of April through the end of October and possibly November 2026.All bids submitted must include:1. Proposal for lawn care maintenance2. Furnishing of all labor, materials, and tools required to complete the work3. Copies of proof of Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance Certificates4. Certified statement that the firm is not debarred, suspended or otherwise prohibited from professional practice by any federal, state, or local agency5. Section 3 Certifications in accordance with BMHA's Section 3 Policy (included in RFP)All bids must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked Lawn Care Maintenance by 1:00 pm on March 9, 2026BMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
