LEGAL NOTICE At a meeting of Zanesville City Council on Monday, February 23, 2026 the following legislation was passed by Council and signed by the Mayor. Ordinance No. 2026-12-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the City Auditor to pay the invoices of various departments using 2026 money for 2025 invoices and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2026-14-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to sell the Zanesville Police Department's K-9 dog Danforth and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2026-15-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2025-131 that currently establishes wages for unaffiliated employees in the municipal service, authorizing the Mayor to add Cemetery and Parks Maintenance Crew Leader position to the unaffiliated pay ordinance.
