You Must be 18 years or older on or before the 2026 General Election. You Must have been a resident of Ohio for 30 days. You Must be a resident of the County and the precinct where you intend to vote.VOTER REGISTRATION LOCATIONS: Board of Elections Any Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Public Libraries Various County Agencies and Offices Public High Schools and Vocational Schools Via the Internet: You may register online or download a voter registration form at VoteOhio.gov By mail: you may request a registration form from the Board of Elections, or the Secretary of State's office.WHEN YOU VOTE- TAKE PHOTO IDENTIFICATION Ohio driver's license, state ID card, or interim ID form issued by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. o This includes a commercial driver's license, motorcycle operator's license, probationary or restricted license, or temporary instruction permit. o An interim identification form is a BMV document issued to a person who has just applied for a driver's license or state ID card, to use until the permanent card arrives in the mail; U.S. passport or passport card; or U.S. military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ID card. 3-29/2026
