A vacancy on the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Board of Directors will exist on 08/26/2026. Any interested person, eighteen (18) years of age or over, may apply to fill the vacancy with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Court Division of the Tuscarawas County Court of Court of Common Pleas by obtaining an Application and Position Description from the Clerk of the Common Pleas Courts of Tuscarawas County, Ohio and submitting the application to said Clerk on or before 5/22/2026 at 4:30 p.m., c/o Wendy D. Jones, Clerk of Common Pleas Courts of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, 125 E. High Ave., Room 230, PO Box 628, New Philadelphia, OH 44663-0628.
? All applicants must be registered voters.
? The Conservancy Act (R.C. 6101.01 et seq.) requires that each Director be a resident of a different county from the county of residence of other Directors and that at least three (3) Directors must reside within the territorial limits of the Conservancy District. The current Directors whose terms are continuing and are not presently expiring reside in the following Counties: Medina, Tuscarawas, Stark and Delaware. Applicants cannot be a resident of those counties.
