Notice of Adoption
Beth Ann Ison is notified that a petition for adoption of a child named Miles Ison Hurt ("Miles"), born to you on June 14, 2025, was filed in the office of the clerk of Vanderburgh Superior Court, Probate Division, Suite 129, Administration Building, 1 NW ML King Jr. Blvd., Evansville, Indiana 47708. The petition for adoption alleges that your consent to the adoption is not required because you abandoned, failed to support, failed to have meaningful contact with Miles and/or you are an unfit parent.
If you seek to contest the adoption of Miles you must file a written motion to contest the adoption in accordance with IC 31-19-10-1 in the above named court not later than fifteen (15) days after the date of service of this notice.
If you do not file a motion to contest the adoption within fifteen (15) days after service of this notice the above-named court will hear and determine the petition for adoption. Your consent to the adoption of Miles will be irrevocably implied and you will lose the right to contest either the adoption or the validity of your implied consent to the adoption.
