Notice of Public Hearing  The Adams Township Board of Zoning Appeals  will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May  6th, 2026. The hearing will take place in the Adams Township House, 100 Park Avenue, Gettysburg, Ohio. The hearing will start at or as  near as possible to 7:00 PM for the following  cases:  Case#: BZA-Adams-03-2026: A Conditional  Use Request by Seth Garber to split off an  existing farm dwelling with +/- 12 acres from a  78.817 acre farm, which is less than the 20 acre  minimum,  per Zoning Resolution Section  302.04 (F) and Article 5 Section 505. The subject property is located at 7886 Spidel Road in  Adams Township, Parcel ID  A02-0-310-35-00-00-10200 and is zoned A-1  Agriculture.  Case#: BZA-Adams-04-2026: A Variance request by Michael Swiger and Amariah Wetzel  from Zoning Resolution Section 502.02 in order  to construct a detached accessory structure  within a required front yard. The subject property is located at 6006 Arcanum-Bears Mill  Road in Adams Township, Parcel ID  A02-0-310-33-00-00-32100 and is zoned A-1  Agriculture.
