Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Northwest Wood Ambulance District of Grand Rapids, Ohio, passed on the 19 day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5 day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be renewal for the benefit of Northwest Wood Ambulance District for the purpose of 24 hour ambulance service and emergency medical service at a rate not exceeding 6.75 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $187 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $796,533. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
