Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Township Trustees of Ross Township Fire District of Hamilton, Ohio, passed on the 15th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 3 mills for the benefit of Ross Township Fire District for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefore, or sources of water supply and materials therefore, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire-alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent, part-time, or volunteer firefighters or firefighting companies to operate the same, including the payment of the firefighter employers' contribution required for under section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or the purchase of ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical services operated by a fire department or firefighting company, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $59 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $585,796. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.By order of the Board of Elections, of Butler County, Ohio.
