Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation County of Lucas Proposed Tax Levy (Additional) Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners, of the County of Lucas, Ohio, passed on the 27th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the PRIMARY ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be an additional tax for the benefit of Lucas County for the purpose of the provision and maintenance of zoological park services and facilities at a rate not exceeding 0.9 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $32 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $10,384,752. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and rema
