Notice of Election on Sales and Use TaxR.C.3501.11(G) Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Mahoning County, Ohio, passed on the 20th day of November, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of Mahoning County at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of:The Board of County Commissioners of Mahoning County proposes the continuation of an existing levy for a sales and use tax in the amount of 1/4% percent for the purpose of the repair, maintenance, and improvement of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure located within Mahoning County, including but not limited to roads, bridges, and other infrastructure in townships and municipalities for a period of five (5) years, commencing on April 1,2027. Shall the resolution of the Mahoning County Commissioners proposing the continuation of an existing 1/4% percent sales and use tax for the repair, maintenance, and improvements of roads, bridges and other infrastructure located within Mahoning County including but not limited to roads, bridges and other infrastructure in township and municipalities be approved for a five (5) year period?
