NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Plain Township Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled public hearings on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 5pm at the Plain Twp Fire Station located at 9500 Johnstown Rd New Albany to consider the following applications: Variance Application 04-14-2026-01–7938 Schleppi Rd requesting variances under Section 406.02 & 427.01.3 to allow a second accessory structure larger than the allowed 144 SF and to install an automatic locking pool cover instead of a locking gate and fence. Variance Application 04-14-2026-02–8084 Bevelhymer Rd – requesting a variance under Section 406.02 to allow an accessory structure 1880 SF larger than the allowed 3120 SF. Text and materials of the Variance Applications will be posted to the Plain Twp website at www.plaintownship.org and available for public examination from April 15, 2026 - May 1, 2026, inclusive, Monday-Friday, excluding legal holidays 8am to 4pm at the Plain Twp offices, 45 Second St, New Albany 43054.
