Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the @district.taxingAuthority.name of Paxton Township of @district.cityOrVillage, Ohio, passed on the 5th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 1.4 mills for the benefit of Paxton Township for the purpose of current expense at a rate not exceeding 1.4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $44 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $39,252. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
