NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION REED MEMORIAL LIBRARY Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Resolutions passed on October 27, 2025 and November 24, 2025 the Ravenna City School District, Portage County, Ohio, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of the Reed Memorial Library district at a Primary Election to be held in said Library District at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the question of a renewal tax levy for current expenses. Tax being a renewal of a 1.5 mills tax levy that the county auditor estimates will collect $489,542 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
