Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 City of Seven Hills ___________________________ Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Council of the City of Seven Hills of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, passed on the 13th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 5.04 mills for the benefit of the City of Seven Hills for the purpose of the payment of permanent and part-time firefighters, including the payment of the firefighter employers' contribution required under Section 742.34 of the Revised Code, and the provision of ambulance, paramedic and other emergency medical services operated by the City's Fire Department at a rate not exceeding 5.04 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $107 for each $100,000 of the County Fiscal Officer's market value, for five years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $1,648,584. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
