Notice of Election on Qualifying Tax Levy by School District in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.17, 5705.25 Solon City School District ___________________________   Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the City School District of Solon of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, passed on the 26th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be an additional tax for the benefit of Solon City School District for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 6.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $242 for each $100,000 of the County Fiscal Officer's market value, for a continuing period of time. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $11,884,981. The carry-over balance in the district's general operating budget from the preceding fiscal year exceeds the district's general fund expenditures in the amount of $0, which is 0% of expenditures.
