Notice of Election on Qualifying Tax Levy by School District in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Springfield Local School District Proposed Tax Levy (Additional) Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of Springfield Local School District, of the County of Lucas, Ohio, passed on the 28th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the PRIMARY ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be an additional tax, for the benefit of Springfield Local School District for the purpose of providing funds for current expenses at a rate not exceeding 3.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $137 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
