Form No. 124 Prescribed by Secretary of State (01/2026) Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Township Trustees of Columbia Township of Columbia Township, Ohio, passed on the 25th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary/Special Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 1 mill and an increase of 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Columbia Township for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in Columbia Township which includes paving, resurfacing, repairing, maintaining, and the equipment necessary to complete such work at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $38 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $495,204. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
