Form No. 124 Prescribed by Secretary of State (01-23) Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten-Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Village Of Shawnee Hills, Ohio, passed on the 29th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten-mill limitation: An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Shawnee Hills for the purpose of providing and maintaining motor vehicles, communications, other equipment, buildings, and sites for such buildings used directly in the operation of a police department, for the payment of salaries of permanent or part-time police, communications, or administrative personnel to operate the same, including the payment of any employer contributions required for such personnel under section 145.48 or 742.33 of the Revised Code that the county auditor estimates will collect $99,512 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.75 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $61 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
