NOTICE OF BIDDING Sealed proposals shall be addressed to and deposited with Dr. Nicole Dice, Superintendent, at the Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District, 172 Turkeyfoot Road, Confluence, Pennsylvania, 15424 until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, for "New LP Gas System and Domestic Water Heater Replacement" work to the Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School, Confluence, Pennsylvania. Bids will be publicly opened at the time and place stated above. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a ca-shier's check or the bid bond of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the proposal and a non-collusion affidavit . Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of the "Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District." No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Specifications and drawings for bidding purposes may be obtained by the Contractors at the office of H.F. Lenz Co., Consulting Engineers, 1407 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, Pennsylvania 15904 on or after Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Documents will be distributed electronically, in .PDF form, upon request from the Contractors by emailing a request to kmuha@hflenz.com. Hard copies of the documents are available upon request and require a non-refundable fee of two hundred fifty ($250.00) dollars for one set of specifications with drawings. Specifications and drawings that are requested by the Contractor to be shipped, will be sent via UPS Ground upon receipt of an additional twenty-five ($25.00) dollar non-refundable shipping fee. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. Work shall be started on the project not later than ten (10) days after notification by the Owner or Engineer to start work. The entire work shall be completed, ready for use, on or before July 31, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, or to reject any or all bids.
