BID NOTICE MAROTTA/MAIN ARCHITECTSHousing Authority of Montour County 700 North 4th Street102 Beaver Place Sunbury, Pennsylvania 17801Danville, Pennsylvania 17821 Telephone: 570-286-2526Prime General Construction Contract Project: Capital Fund Project Apartment Midrise 2nd & 3rd Floor Renovations Beaver Place, Danville, PA The Housing Authority of Montour County will receive sealed bids from bona fide General Construction contract bidders for the following construction work: Provide and install new finishes on the second and third floors of the existing mid rise apartment building. Finishes include new flooring , wall coverings, wall base, ceilings, corner guards, doors and lighting throughout the common areas. The Housing Authority of Montour County will receive sealed bid proposals from bona fide contract bidders until 3:30 P .M., prevailing time, Wednesday March 11, 2026 at their office located at 102 Beaver Place, Danville, Pennsylvania. Proposals received after that time will not be accepted. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at 4:00 P.M., prevailing time that same day at a Board Meeting held at the Housing Authority office, 102 Beaver Place, Danville, PA Contract documents may be obtained on or after Wednesday February 18, 2026 by emailing Marotta/Main Architects (alf@marotta/main.com) Bona fide contract bidders may secure copies of the bid documents from the Architect on the following basis: One electronic set (PDF) of Drawings and Specifications upon request by Prime Bidders only at no charge. Bidders on record will receive copies of any Addenda issued. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of Montour County, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and acceptable surety (Treasury Listed) to the Housing Authority in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the Base Bid is required to be submitted with the sealed bid proposal. If a bid guarantee is not received, the Housing Authority will reject the bid proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one-hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. Surety must be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. A one year Maintenance Bond will also be required from the successful bidder. Costs for all bonds is the responsibility of the contractor and shall be included as part of the submitted Base Bid. Attention is called to the provision for equal employment opportunity and the compliance with Section 3 Regulations (employment opportunities for low-income persons in HUD-Funded construction and modernization projects) and the payment of not less than the wages set forth in the Specifications. Pre-bid Conference: Pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Housing Authority office, 102 Beaver Place, Danville, PA No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days subsequent to the opening date of the bids without the written consent of the Housing Authority.
