REQUEST FOR BID Sealed bids will be received by the Shrewsbury Township Board of Supervisors for Contractor to furnish and place approximately 58,100 sq. yd. of calibrated chipping. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Board of Supervisors meeting room, 12341 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA, 17327. All bids shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "Shrewsbury Township 2026 Calibrated Chip Bid." Bids may be hand-delivered, mailed, or overnighted to Shrewsbury Township at 12341 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA, 17327, Attn. Todd A. Zeigler, Township Manager, and will be considered if received prior to the date and time mentioned herein. Facsimile and email bids shall be rejected. Bidding documents may be secured at the Shrewsbury Township administrative office, at the aforementioned address, or emailed upon request by the bidder. All bids must be accompanied by cash, certified check, money order, or bid bond with corporate surety made payable to Shrewsbury Township in the minimum amount of 10% of the bid price. All bids shall remain irrevocable for thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening. It is the intent of the Shrewsbury Township Board of Supervisors to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder at the regularly scheduled meeting on May 6, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. (prevailing time). Shrewsbury Township reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and the right to award a base bid, an alternate bid or any combination thereof, at its sole discretion, as is in the best interest of Shrewsbury Township.
