Salem Township seeks bids for traffic signal equipment repairs on State Route 22.

PUBLIC NOTICEThe Board of Supervisors of Salem Township is soliciting bids for traffic signal equipment repairs at one (1) signalized intersection along State Route 22 within the Township. The bid amount must include furnishing, constructing, installing, removing, and testing all equipment, materials, and products necessary and as required in the scope of work. All work is to be performed within the public rights of way. Any work performed outside of any public right-of-way will be the CONTRACTORS responsibility to coordinate with private property owners. Bid documents may be requested by calling MARK SZEWCOW, P.E., of Gibson Thomas Engineering, at 724-539-8562 or via email atmark.szewcow@gibson-thomas.com. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked ROUTE 22 ROUTE 119 ACCIDENT TRAFFIC SIGNAL REPAIRS and be delivered to and received by the Secretary of Salem Township at 244 Congruity Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601 on or before 12:00 PM, March 16th, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the amount bid. Bids will be opened publicly at10:00 AM on March 17th, 2026, in the Township Municipal Building at 244 Congruity Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601, and held for review at that time. Bids will be considered for award at a meeting of the Supervisors of Salem Township to be held onMarch 18th, 2026, in the Salem Township Municipal Building, 244 Congruity Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601, of which this advertisement is notice.
