SECOND REQUEST FOR BIDS The Borough of Monaca will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the following described property: 913 Taylor Avenue Monaca, PA Tax Parcel No: 37-001-0610.000 Sealed proposals shall be made on a bid form provided by the Borough of Monaca and may be obtained along with a packet containing Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Proposed Contract, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Municipal Building, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca PA. Said form may also be obtained by clicking on the link “913 Taylor Avenue Property” appearing on the Borough's website at www.monacapa.net. Sealed proposals shall be addressed and delivered to the Borough Manager, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061, and marked on the outside as follows: “Proposal for Purchase of 913 Taylor Avenue Property”. Sealed proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, Friday, April 24, 2026, in the Borough Manager's office. The proposals, if any, shall be publically opened and read aloud during the regular meeting of Borough Council scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026. A decision on the bid will be announced after review and at a public meeting of Council. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid security bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
