Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 A.M. in the Meeting Room at City Hall, 301 11th Street, this same day, for the following contract:CONTRACT NO. NK 26-02 "2026 PIB Street Improvement Project, Phase ITo include approximately 22,500 square yards of asphalt milling and installing approximately 1250 Tons of Asphalt Wearing Coarse 2500 Tons of Asphalt Binder and appurtenance.Copies of bidding forms, specifications and other contract documents will be on file at the office of Alpha Engineering Co., Inc. 2668 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. Direct all communications to Kimberly Lynch by phone 724-339-2000 or email alphaengineering@alphaengr.org.Electronic copies of the bid documents may be obtained at no charge through the office of Alpha Engineering Co., Inc. All prospective bidders must be registered through Alpha Engineering Co., Inc. to receive bid documents. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Only documents obtained directly from the Engineer will be valid at bid opening. Hardcopies are available to be mailed upon payment of $75.00 plus $15.00 Postage per set of plans and specifications.Bids may be held by Owner for a period not to exceed __60__ days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Materials Payment and Maintenance Bonds.
