LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Avoca Borough Council will consider at a meeting of Borough Council on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., an Ordinance regarding the registration and inspection of residential rental properties and penalties for noncompliance. This Ordinance would establish the duties of owners/property managers of residential rental properties, update the registration and inspection fee schedule, provide procedures for code enforcement inspections of rental properties, and set penalties for violations for noncompliance. A complete text of the proposed Ordinance can be inspected at the Avoca Borough Building at 950 Main Street, Avoca, PA 18641 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
