PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED ORDINANCE ELIZABETHTOWN BOROUGH Notice is hereby given that the Elizabethtown Borough Council at its public meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Borough Office, 600 S Hanover Street, Elizabethtown, PA, shall consider, and at that meeting or at a subsequent meeting held within 60 days of the date of publication of this advertisement, if appropriate, shall enact an ordinance, the caption of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BOROUGH OF ELIZABETHTOWN MUNICIPAL CODE, CHAPTER 27, ZONING, AS FOLLOWS: TO DEFINE A CROSS-MUNICIPAL PLANNED MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT, TO PERMIT APARTMENTS, GARDEN APARTMENTS, AND APARTMENT HOUSES CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF A CROSS-MUNICIPAL PLANNED MIXEDUSE DEVELOPMENT BY CONDITIONAL USE IN THE R-3 HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT, TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR APARTMENTS IN THE R-3 ZONING DISTRICT CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF A CROSS-MUNICIPAL PLANNED MIXEDUSE DEVELOPMENT TO 45 FEET, TO DECREASE THE MINIMUM LOT AREA PER UNIT REQUIREMENT AND OTHER DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APARTMENTS IN THE R-3 DISTRICT CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF A CROSS-MUNICIPAL PLANNED MIXEDUSE DEVELOPMENT, AND TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN SPECIFIC CRITERIA FOR APARTMENTS CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF A CROSS-MUNICIPAL PLANNED MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT IN THE R-3 DISTRICT.
