Public Notice Notice is hereby given that Coal Loaders. Inc., doing business at 210 East Main Street, PO Box 556, Ligonier, PA 15658, has requested Stage I Bond Release for Surface Mine Permit No. 56130107, also known as Ralphton Mine, pursuant to the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act. The permit was issued on January 25, 2017. The 312.1-acre permit area is located approximately 1.75 miles southeast of Jenners, PA between Trading Post Road (T-546) and Ralphton Road (SR 4025) primarily on the lands of Bruce T. and Elaine K. Fischer, David A. and Hollie M. Lohr, and Hiram R. and Delores J. Zimmerman, as shown on the 7 ½ Minute USGS Boswell and Somerset Quadrangles. Bond release of $400,889 is requested for 259.2 acres. Total bond held is $907,971. This release is for the reclamation liability on 259.2 acres of Stage I which was backfilled between July 2018 and November 2025. This is a Stage I release request. Written comments, objections or requests for a public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the Cambria District Office of the Department of Environmental Protection, 286 Industrial Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931, within thirty (30) days of the final (4th) publication of this notice.
