New Hire Police Officer Test for Tullytown Borough Tullytown Borough, by and through the Tullytown Borough Civil Service Commission, is creating a New Hire Eligibility List in order to hire for the position of Tullytown Borough Police Officer in accordance with the Tullytown Borough Civil Service Rules and Regulations. All interested candidates must first take the Tullytown Borough Police Officer written examination on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Applications are available at the Tullytown Borough Police Department, 500 Main Street, Tullytown, PA 19007, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Applications can also be obtained by request, via email, at pmarks@tullytownboro.org or by contacting 215-945-5290. Completed applications must be received by the Tullytown Borough Police Department no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, with a $25.00 non-refundable fee (cash or check/money order payable to “Tullytown Borough”). Applications received after this date will not be considered. The written examination on Saturday, May 23, 2026, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and take place at the Tullytown Borough Municipal Building at 500 Main Street, Tullytown, PA 19007. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and all applicants must present a photo driver's license. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age, in good physical condition, a U.S. citizen in good standing and be a high school graduate or possess a GED. The creation of a Tullytown Borough New Hire police officer list and the hiring of police officers shall be done in accordance with the Tullytown Borough Civil Service Rules and Regulations. A copy of the Tullytown Borough Civil Service Rules and Regulations is available for examination during normal business hours in the office of the Borough Coordinator.
