Bid Documents will be available on Monday, March 02, 2026. Email requests to Alloy5 Architecture at nmoyer@alloy5.com. Request for Bid Documents must include company name, contact person, trade (DPMC classification), phone, and email. Addenda (if any) will be distributed to all plan holders that have received the electronic transfer. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms provided in the manner designated and include all required documents listed in the Bidders Checklist. Bids to be sealed and delivered to Renee M. Jilinski, School Business Administrator, Mifflinburg Board of Education, 178 Maple St, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 on or before date and time indicated below. Bidders and/or their authorized agents, and the general public are invited to be present at the bid opening. No bids shall be received or accepted by the Board of Education after the advertised bid date and time. The Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory, the Pre-Bid Conference which will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11:00AM at the Mifflinburg High School Administration Building at 178 Maple St, Mifflinburg PA 17844. This is the only date that the site will be available for inspection. Visits at other dates/times must be arranged through the School Business Administrator's Office and will be limited based on the school's schedule and availability of personnel. Bid guarantee shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. Refer to Bid Documents for other bonding and insurance requirements. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 (Act No. 442), as amended and supplemented, and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to this project which have been promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. Bidders shall refer to provisions of the Federal and State statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of the public natural resources that affect the project; said statement of provisions being submitted, as part of the specifications, pursuant to Section 3301 of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Procurement Code, 62 Pa.C.S. § 3301.
