ADVERTISEMENT TO BID Renovations at Various Schools Rose Tree Media School District Sealed Proposals will be received by Rose Tree Media School District for General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction at various schools for the Rose Tree Media School District. Project includes an interior renovation of (4) science lab classrooms; a fire alarm replacement; and (2) RTU replacements. Scope includes new finishes including paint, ceilings, and flooring; millwork and casework; re-configuring electrical and piping as required for new spaces; new electrical and wiring as required for fire alarm systems; new mechanical equipment; structural support and roof patching as required for mechanical work; and other associated general, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work as required per drawings and specifications. Proposals shall be addressed to Dr. Vanessa Scott, Secretary to the Board, at 308 North Olive Street, Media, PA, 19063. Proposals must be received by 10:00 AM, March 10, 2026. Bid results will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time. Bidding Documents will be available Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Bidders must register with the Architect prior to receiving Bidding Documents. Bidders shall email Matthew Quinn at mquinn@gkoarchitects.com. Bidders must indicate name and address of their Company, work discipline, contact name and contact email. Upon completion of registration, Bidders will be given a link to access the documents. Questions regarding the bid shall be emailed using RFI format (Request For Information) to mquinn@gkoarchitects.com. A Pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Penncrest High School, 134 Barren Road, Media, PA. There will be a general meeting at Penncrest to go over project scopes before visiting the individual schools from there. The other schools include: • Glenwood Elementary School, 122 Pennell Road, Media, PA • Springton Lake Middle School, 1900 N. Providence Road, Media, PA Proposals shall conform to all other requirements as more fully set forth in the bidding documents, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Law, approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442), as amended, and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to this project which have been promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. All proposals submitted are valid for acceptance by the Owner and may not be withdrawn for a period of at least sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless the award of contract is delayed by the required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds or award of grant or grants, in which case, proposals shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in accordance with Section 3911 of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Procurement Code, 62 Pa.C.S. § 3911.
