Notice is hereby given that the Conoy Township Board of Supervisors, Lancaster County, 211 Falmouth Road, Bainbridge, PA 17502, will accept bids for the following contract until 11:00 a.m., March 5, 2026, and will be opened on PennBid (pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Hand delivered, mailed, and faxed bids will not be accepted. All bids are to be submitted online through the PennBid website (pennbid.bonfirehub.com): Conoy Township is proposing the demolition of an existing bridge and existing concrete wing walls located on Governor Stable Road. The existing bridge is severely corroded and is deteriorating. The demolished bridge will be replaced with cast-in-place wing walls and an aluminum box culvert. The proposed culvert will not require the realignment of the existing waterways. The waterway opening for the proposed aluminum box culvert will match the existing opening or be enlarged from the existing bridge opening. The associated roadway improvements include realigning Governor Stable Road to improve the safety of the curve from the far approach, widening the roadway at the crossing to match the existing roadway width from both approaches, and installing guide rail. Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to "Conoy Township" shall accompany each bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 10 days after notice of award of same. The non-collusion affidavit must be executed and submitted with the bid. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. The project cost is greater than $25,000 and shall be bid utilizing PA Prevailing Wage Rates. A completed Public Works Employment Verification Form shall be submitted with the bid package. The Township reserves the right to waive irregularities in, or reject any and all bids.
