Legal Notice ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Howe Township Board of Supervisors, Forest County, Pennsylvania will receive bids for the Howe Township Bridge No. 2 Rehabilitation Project until 1:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Howe Township Municipal Building, 7947 Route 666, Sheffield, PA 16347, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project will generally consist of the repair of the concrete parapets and prestressed concrete fascia beams and general restoration activities. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the Howe Township Municipal Building (telephone: 814-968-4203). Copies of the contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 from Mark J. Corey & Associates, P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421 for each set of contract documents so obtained or by calling (814) 897-3180. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
