For hand delivery or questions, bidders must call the Borough Office at 724-697-4415 to make arrangements prior to delivery. Bids will be opened, read, and awarded during the scheduled council meeting Monday, March 2, 2026, starting at 7:00 pm in the Avonmore Civic Center, 438 Railroad Avenue, Avonmore, PA 15618.ENVELOPES CONTAINING BIDS MUST BE DESIGNATED SEALED BID: ON-CALL EQUIPMENT WITH OPERATOR FY 2026.On-Call Equipment with Operator and Hourly Rates for Various Projects (2448-hour response for an emergency) FY 2026:Single-axle dump truck with operator/laborerTandem axle dump truck with operator/laborerMini excavator with operator/laborerBobcat with operator/laborerThe Contractor is responsible for obtaining all licenses and permits necessary for the execution of the work performed, providing all notices, and complying with all laws, bylaws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the conduct of the work.The Contractor (and any Subcontractors hired by the Contractor) shall be required to maintain commercial general liability insurance, business auto liability insurance, and workers' compensation and employers liability unless any such requirement is expressly waived or amended by Avonmore Borough in writing.
