LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Durham Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Durham Township Municipal Building, 215 Old Furnace Road, Durham, PA to consider the application of John McNichol concerning a property located on Fireline Road, Durham Township, also known as Tax Map Parcel No. 11-005-094. The property is located in the Township's RP –Resource Protection zoning district. The Applicant is seeking the following variances from Section 508.A.1. and 3. of the Durham Township Zoning Ordinance to allow for the following: (1) disturbance of 24.1% of the forest and woodlands where 20% disturbance is permitted, (2) disturbance of 34.2% of steep slopes between 16% to 25% where 30% is permitted and (3) disturbance of 18.5% of steep slopes over 25% where 15% is permitted. Applicant also seeks a variance from Section 508.A.1. concerning tree replacement. Interested persons may review the application, any site plan and related filed documents during normal business hours Monday through Friday prior to the hearing.
