PUBLIC NOTICE At least annually, the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority (LASA) is required by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) to publish a list of Significant Industrial Users (SIUs) of the sewer system that were in Significant Noncompliance (SNC) at any time during the previous twelve-month period with applicable Pretreatment Program limits and requirements according to the US EPA General Pretreatment Regulations, specifically 40 CFR Part 403.8(f)(2)(viii). The following SIUs have been determined to be in SNC during the twelve-month period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025: Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. located at 3250 Hempland Road in Lancaster, PA during the July 2025-December 2025 evaluation period for TRC and Chronic violations of the daily maximum limits for copper and nickel. Kellogg USA LLC located at 2050 State Road in Lancaster, PA on May 6, 2025 for a slug discharge of untreated wastewater that caused interference. Kline's Services, LLC located at 5 Holland Street in Salunga, PA during the October 2024-March 2025 evaluation period for TRC violations of the daily maximum limits for copper and zinc. Nissin Foods (USA) Co., Inc. located at 2901 Hempland Road in Lancaster, PA during the January 2025-June 2025 evaluation period for a TRC violation of the daily maximum limit for oil & grease. Precision Form, Inc. located at 148 W. Airport Road in Lititz, PA during the October 2024-March 2025 evaluation period for TRC violations of the daily maximum limit for copper and monthly average limits for chromium and zinc.
