Notice of Variance Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Waymart Borough Zoning Hearing Board will convene a public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 4 PM at the Waymart Borough Building, 128 South Street Waymart, PA to consider an application for variance submitted by the Wayne County Housing Authority, seeking variances from the Waymart Borough Zoning Ordinances relative to the Housing Authority premises located at 130 Carbondale Road, Waymart, PA. The Housing Authority seeks two (2) variances under the Ordinance: increase of maximum height limitation set forth in Section 125-13 of the Ordinance and increase of number of multi-family units per building. The subject property is described as Wayne County Tax Map Parcel 28-0-0006-0024. The proposed use is senior/veteran residence. The site is currently zoned in the Residential R-1 Zoning District.
