LEGAL NOTICEREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSSealed proposals addressed to City of Bardwell (Owner) will be received at the City Hall at 5746 Planter Gin Rd, Bardwell, TX 75101, for furnishing all necessary material, equipment and labor required for the construction of the following project:SYCAMORE STREET 8" WATER IMPROVEMENTSBids will be opened at City of Bardwell, Texas City Hall, beginning at 11:00 A.M. on May 14, 2026. The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following work:Installation of approximately 900 linear feet of 8" PVC Water Main along the alley north of Sycamore Street (W Hwy 34) from starting at Italy Avenue and extending to the southeast to connect to an existing main in Sycamore Street east of Margarite Avenue.Bidders must submit with their bids a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Owner or a proposal bond in the same amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish not only a performance bond in the amount of the contract, but also a payment bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials.Contract Documents, Proposal Forms, Specifications, and plans are on file and may be examined without charge in the offices of the Engineer and may be obtained from Freeman - Millican, Inc., 9330 Lyndon B.
