DIOCESE OF CORPUS CHRISTI -SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS
Notice to Proposers: Qualified proposers may submit a competitive sealed proposal for the project as described in this Document. Submit competitive sealed proposals according to the Instructions to Proposers.
Regulatory Requirements: Applicable laws of the State of Texas shall govern submittal, opening, and award of Competitive Sealed Proposals.
Project Identification: Corpus Christi Cathedral Surface Parking Lot, Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi.
Project Location: 505 N. Upper Broadway, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
Owner: Corpus Christi Cathedral ? Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi.
Owner's Representative: Deacon Michael Mantz, Diocesan Property Manager
Architect: Gignac Architects.
Project Description: Construction of new surface parking lot including but not limited to concrete paving, landscaping, irrigation, security fencing.
Construction Contract: Proposals will be received for the following Work:
General Contract (all required trades).
COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
Owner will receive Competitive Sealed Proposals on Tuesday May 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., C.S.T., at the office of Gignac Architects, 416 Starr St., Corpus Christi Texas 78401. Owner will consider Competitive Sealed Proposals prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Proposers issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Competitive Sealed Proposals will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS SECURITY
Competitive Sealed Proposals security shall be submitted with each competitive sealed proposal in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No competitive sealed proposals may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
PREPROPOSAL MEETING
Preproposal Meeting: A Preproposal meeting for all Proposers will be held at the office of Gignac Architects, 416 Starr St., Corpus Christi Texas 78401 on April 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective prime Proposers and major sub-contractors are requested to attend.

Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain digital (PDF) copies of the competitive sealed proposals Documents, after April 12, 2026, by contacting Gignac Architects at rgarza@gignac-associates.com or 361.884.2661. Documents will be provided to prime Proposers and major Proposer contractors. Only complete sets of documents will be issued.
PROPOSERS QUALIFICATIONS
Proposers must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
