INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids addressed to Alpha Ranch Water Control and Improvement District of Denton and Wise Counties, Board of Directors, will be received at the office of the Engineer for the District, Westwood Professional Services, 11000 Frisco Street, Suite 400, Frisco, Texas 75033, 2:00 pm Local Time, Thursday, March 26, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud for Alpha Ranch WCID of Denton and Wise Counties, Grading Operations to serve Alpha Ranch Phases 4D & 5A.
The project scope includes approximately 29 acres of clearing and grubbing, 107,000 cubic yards of excavation and lot grading for 147 lots.
Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via Teams on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. Local Time. The meeting ID 292 503 011 072 60 and the passcode is st2TF33q . Call in number is 612-268-4437 , ID is 493 817 387# .
Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified.
Copies of the bidding documents may be purchased and picked up at the office of the Engineer for $100, or an electronic version may be obtained and downloaded for free by contacting a representative of the Engineer for the District: districts@westwoodps.com 
The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids or in bidding. The Owner may accept the bid of any responsible person deemed most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project.
ATTENTION: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, if awarded the contract, you must be able to provide Alpha Ranch Water Control and Improvement District of Denton and Wise Counties (the “District”) with a printed, executed and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form. Failure to do so will result in the District's inability to execute the contract.
