Hunt County seeks bids for the FY26 Seal Coat Program.

REQUEST FOR BIDS — FY26 SEAL COAT PROGRAM — RFB #274-26
HUNT COUNTY, TEXAS
Hunt County is accepting sealed bids for RFB #274-26 — FY26 Seal Coat Program.
Sealed bids will be received in the office of the Hunt County Purchasing Department until 2:00 P.M. CST, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of roadway pavement improvements utilizing a one course surface treatment (seal coat) on various Hunt County roads. This bid is intended to establish a one-year unit price contract for seal coat work assigned by Hunt County. Specific road locations and quantities are not known at the time of bidding, and work will be assigned throughout the contract period by written work orders issued by Hunt County.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the largest possible bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2253.

Hunt County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best bid in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §262.027.

Hunt County reserves the right to reject any and all RFBs, to waive technicalities, to re-advertise, or proceed otherwise in the best interest of the County.
