KIPP Texas seeks proposals for food service management services for schools.

KIPP Texas, Inc. is seeking Proposals (RFP 2526-003) for Food Service Management Services for schools located in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. Proposals will be received until 11:00 AM CST on April 9, 2026 and may be submitted electronically utilizing the KIPP Texas Procurement Portal. Mandatory pre-proposal meetings are scheduled as follows:
Houston: March 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST at 10711 KIPP Way, Houston, TX 77099
San Antonio: March 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST at 8915 Callaghan Road, San Antonio, TX 78230
Dallas: March 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST at 3837 Simpson Stuart Road, Dallas, TX 75216
All bid documents will be available at www.KIPPTexas.org/current-bids; bid documents may also be obtained by contacting Maricela Arredondo at maricela.arredondo@kipptexas.org or phone: 210-238-6727. Late proposals will not be evaluated. Proposals will be opened via videoconference at https://meet.google.com/cwg-naer-atz on April 9, 2026 at 11:10 a.m. CST. Proposals will be evaluated using the weighted criteria stated in the RFP. The criteria listed in the RFP are cost (highest point value), years of experience, references, guarantee offer, a financial business plan, a personnel management/staffing consideration plan, promotion of the Child Nutrition program/student engagement plan, and a taste testing presentation. Contract(s) will be awarded to the responsible proposer(s) whose response(s) is/are determined, after evaluation by KIPP, to be the best value to KIPP. KIPP estimates that contract award will be June 18, 2026. The method of payment for contract(s) awarded pursuant to this RFP shall be USDA/TDA child nutrition funds. KIPP reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any or all irregularities.
