EPE proposes to extend EV-Ready Pilot Programs until January 31, 2029.

EPE's Notice of Tariff Modification
On March 13, 2026, El Paso Electric Company ("EPE" or the "Company") filed a Petition with the Public Utility Commission of Texas ("PUC" or "Commission")  to modify the duration of certain of the Company's Texas Electric Vehicle ("EV")-Ready Pilot Programs and Tariffs. EPE's Petition was assigned Tariff Control No. 59509 and is styled Petition of El Paso Electric Company to Modify Duration of Certain Texas Electric Vehicle ("EV")-Ready Pilot Program Tariffs. EPE also filed the Petition simultaneously with each of the Texas municipalities that has retained original jurisdiction over EPE's retail rates.
 
In its petition, EPE proposes to extend the duration of the following programs from two years to four years such that the programs would terminate on January 31, 2029:
? EV Smart Rewards Pilot Program. This program provides incentives to residential customers for enrolling and participating in EPE's utility-managed electric vehicle ("EV") charging.
? PowerConnect Pilot Program. This program provides non-residential customers who are installing public EV charging infrastructure on their premises with a rebate credit to reduce the customer's upfront cost for utility distribution-system improvements that are needed to support the public EV charging infrastructure.
? Take Charge TX Pilot Program. This program provides non-residential customers with the opportunity to request that EPE arrange, in whole or part, for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of public EV charging infrastructure selected by the customer for public EV charging on the customer's premises.
 
The only EPE customers that will be affected by this Petition are those customers who elect to participate in one of the voluntary tariffs proposed to be extended. EPE is requesting that the proposed EV-Ready Pilot Program tariff changes become effective on April 17, 2026, which is 35 days following the filing of its petition.
