APPLICATION NOTICE HOUSING RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM The Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment HOME Homebuyer Assistance Program (HANC) provides assistance to eligible low-income households for mortgage financing to build a home on your lot or purchase a lot and build a home. This Program is applicable for interested homebuyers, who live within the County Limits for the following Counties: Angelina, Jasper, San Augustine and Cherokee. Applications will be available to pick up during regular office hours at the Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment, 1221 Abney Avenue, Lufkin TX 75904, starting on February 27'“, 2026, through April 20"‘, 2026. Please note: There will be an in-person application intake held at the Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment on April 9“‘, 2026, at 9:00AM.
